COVID-19 update

We are really feeling the love today, as so many of you have gotten in touch with us about appointments. We are in the midst of putting things in place so that we can welcome you all back to the salon to a safe environment that is considerate of the guidelines that have been provided by the province of Manitoba.

In the very near future, we will be contacting guests regarding their upcoming and cancelled appointments, but first we need to get our scheduling worked out. Please be patient with us and know that we are as anxious to see you as you are to see us! Follow us on Facebook (Salon POP204) and on Instagram Salon POP204 for information as it becomes available. Please help us by passing this update along to your friends and family members who are Salon POP guests.

In light of the ongoing Global situation regarding COVID-19, and as directed by the province of Manitoba, SalonPOP will be closed until further notice. When the province allows us to open again, we will be in-touch with you through email and social media.
Our whole team misses our guests and we hope you are staying safe and healthy.

In light of the ongoing Global situation regarding COVID-19, Salon POP has made a decision to temporarily close it’s doors until further notice, effective today, Tuesday, March 17.

Making this decision was not easy but I think to protect our community, to support our commitment to public health and to our families, it is the right thing to do.

Regarding your appointments in the next coming weeks – we will be calling you this week to help reschedule them for a later date.

In response to the Global situation regarding COVID-19, and in an effort to do our part to contain the virus, Salon POP is making changes to ensure the health and safety of our guests and our team members.

We are closely monitoring the situation and we are heeding the recommendations of our relevant authorities. Be assured that we are taking a number of stringent, precautionary measures to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of everyone.

Our entire team is committed to regular handwashing, as well as to increased sanitation of the Salon. Each station will be treated with a powerful cleaner/disinfectant when a guest leaves the chair, ensuring that the next guest is entering a safe zone. As this will take extra time, we ask that our guests be understanding that their appointment may not start right on time. Note that our stylists’ scissors, brushes, etc. will also be given additional consideration in regards to sanitation. We are increasing the occurrence of sanitation of publicly used surfaces such as doorknobs and handles, bathroom fixtures, and hard surfaces throughout the salon. Because hand-sanitizing products are scarce we ask that our guests wash their hands when entering and leaving the Salon.

As an additional effort to reduce the spread of germs, we are not handling cash at this time – as is always the case, credit and debit cards are welcomed. We have removed all of our tester products from general accessibility. This doesn’t mean that you can’t try a product, it just means that it will now be done with the assistance of one of our team members. We have removed our magazines because they can’t be sanitized, so please bring something of your own in order to be engaged while you are here.

So that others aren’t put at risk, any team members who may be, or who are sick have been asked to follow the directive to self-quarantine for a 14-day period. In the same regard, we ask that if you are not feeling well, please contact us to re-schedule your booking so that we don’t risk jeopardizing the health of others. Your appointment must be re-scheduled if you have been travelling within two weeks of your booking, or if you have been in contact with someone who may be sick within the past 14 days.

At this time, we will remain open, but in order to reduce the incidence of exposure, we are asking that our guests not bring other individuals to the salon with them for appointments.
